Step 1:

Power your iPhone off before disassembly starts. Remove the two Pentalobe screws that are 3.6 mm long next to the Lightning connector.

Step 2:

If the plastic depth gage is connected to the iSclack core, remove it now — there is no need for bigger devices like the iPhone 6. Close the iSclack grip and open the suction cup doors.

Step 3:

  1. Place the iPhone's floor between the suction cups.
  2. Place the bottom suction cup of the iSclack against the screen, just above the home button (but not touching it).
  3. Open the buttons to seal the iSclack's mouths. Centre the suction cups and firmly press them onto the iPhone's top and bottom.

Step 4:

  1. Keep it safely on your iPhone and near the iSclack button to split the suction cups, separating the front panel from the back pocket.
  2. The iSclack is designed to open your iPhone safely enough to separate the pieces, but not sufficiently to damage the display cables.
  3. Peel off your iPhone the two suction cups.

Step 5:

  1. Use a single suction cup to lift the front panel if you don't have an iSclack: Press a suction cup on the display just above the house button.
  2. To get a strong seal, make sure the cup is pushed safely onto the display.
  3. Use transparent packing tape or comparable to cover the display if the panel is broken to the stage that a suction cup will not stick. Sometimes with just the cable, you can even pick up without using the suction cup.

Step 6:

  1. Pull up the suction cup while keeping the iPhone down with one side to split the front panel installation mildly from the back case.
  2. Using a plastic opening device, start prying the back case softly down, away from the screen installation, while pulling up with the suction cup.
